So your first question may be "why Monkey Pie Designs?" I come from a family of nick-namers. I grew up as "Angelican the Pelican." My sister was "Jessilyn Joy the mechanical toy" and my brother, who is actually named Jordan, has been called "Sam" since the day he was born (I know, random!) So when my son was born, we named him Asher Wesley, but I started calling him "monkey pie" pretty much right away. So although there are other little terms of endearment that I use for him, he is now my little Monkey Pie.
